An Element Arts project with Shaftesbury Park School.
The children learned techniques for spoken word, looked at causes of climate change and some ventures that are happening around the world to combat the crisis.

Tasked with writing their own pieces based on climate change, what can be done to help and what they love about the Earth, the children put together pieces with the spoken word techniques they had been learning - call and response, alliteration, personification, onomatopoeia, simile and rhyme.
Strong themes of help, care and allyship emerged; these themes were used by Element Arts to create movement for the dance films.
